Important Steps for Your Office
- Designate a Site Administrator (Required First Step)
- Each site (practice location, hospital, or organization) must have at least one designated Site Administrator.
- This is established at the site level (typically your Type 2 NPI):
- If your office operates under a Group Type 2 NPI, you should register the site using that Group NPI.
- For small practices or solo providers without a Group Type 2 NPI, Priority Health has indicated that the Site Administrator may use the Type 1 NPI to create the account.
- The Site Administrator is responsible for managing user access within the portal.
- Site Administrator setup and site creation began June 15, 2026, and is currently underway.
- This step must be completed before any other users can register or access the portal.
- To assist offices through the site creation process, Priority Health has provided the following slide deck (PDF).
- User Registration Opens August 3, 2026
- Once the Site Administrator is established, all other users can register.
- This includes:
- Billing staff
- Front desk/administrative staff
- Clinicians
- User registration is scheduled to begin August 3, 2026.
Training Opportunities Available
Priority Health is offering numerous live training webinars to help providers and staff learn to use the new portal. The MAC strongly encourages offices to have team members attend a training session specific to their role (e.g., billing, front desk, or clinical staff) to help ease the transition to the new system.
Webinar registration and additional training resources can be found here: Priority Health Provider Portal Training & Registration
