As anyone who has watched television over the past couple of months and has been subjected to a barrage of political ads can attest, Michigan’s General Election is coming soon!
Former President Donald Trump is looking to become the first former commander-in-chief to regain the presidency since Grover Cleveland in 1892. Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic heir apparent since President Joe Biden dropped out of the race in July, is seeking to become the nation’s first woman to be elected president. The ABC News polling aggregation website 538 has Harris up 2.5% in Michigan, 48.6% to 46.1%, and the election is expected to be one of the closest nationally in decades.
The entire U.S. House of Representatives – including the eight Michigan members of Congress who are co-sponsors of the Chiropractic Medicare Coverage Modernization Act (H.R. 1610) – is up for election, as is approximately one-third of the U.S. Senate, including Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow’s seat.
In Michigan, all 110 seats in the Michigan House of Representatives, a U.S. Senate seat, all 13 Michigan seats in the U.S. House, and two seats on the Michigan Supreme Court are up for election this November 5th.
