Dr. Kelle Plotner
CA Boot Camp
Friday, October 1; 4p-8p • Saturday, October 2;
8a-11a
Dr. Kelle
Plotner started her career as a chiropractor in the most important
place – a chiropractic office as a CA. In this intensive "boot camp"
experience, she will take a closer look at all the different
challenges that the CA must face every day in their office.
Do you have patients that have been "trained" to
come in when they need to and expect insurance to cover every visit?
As doctors choose to raise their game in the area of documentation,
compliance, and establishing necessity for care, it’s very hard to
bring our patients along, when they expect insurance to pay for
everything. In this important session, Dr. Plotner will lay out a plan
for you to begin educating these patients to understand that
clinically appropriate care may not always be paid by insurance.
Are you controlling your appointment book, or is it
controlling you? Learn how to take control and manage it correctly. Do
you ever have the feeling that you have forgotten something, yet can’t
remember what it is? Learn a new system that will ensure that nothing
falls through the cracks.
Dr. Plotner will also discuss Medicare, including
using the correct modifiers and understanding the ABN, as well as
setting fees and staying compliant regarding "time of service
discounts." Sponsored by Foot Levelers.
Dr. Kelle Plotner’s experience as a CA has been
invaluable. Learning to manage a home, six kids and Chiropractic
College, she graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College, and had
her own office open three months later. Her office within a short time
had grown into a custom built Multi-Disciplinary facility with
chiropractic, physical therapy and medical service and served as a
training center for other providers interested in the
multi-disciplinary setting, which involved providers and support staff
coming onsite for hands-on experience. Whether training on how to
answer the phones at your front desk, or teaching doctors how to
successfully run their practices, she takes pride in her ability to
roll up her sleeves and train offices on how to put systems and
procedures in place. |
